The American studio ABC have released a Blu-ray collectors edition with the fifth season of the TV-series "Lost". It can be bought for the price of around £ 85 from Axelmusic.com.
The article is written to readers with prior knowledge of the series.

The box set measures 30,5 cm in height, 27 cm in width and 7 cm in depth. Two stickers are placed outside the plastic foil. Beneath the foil is there an easy removable paper wrapping, where you can see the content of the box, technical specifications and special features.
The back:

When the plastic foil and paper wrapping is removed, it might look like that the box set have had a rough trip with the Royal Mail, however this is not the case. The cardboard box is supposed to look 30 years old, which it does.
When the box shows a few meters away, it looks like there is water damage, stickers has been removed and there is tape on the back. Close up, you can clearly see it is a print, but still, it looks really good and the box is well presented.

Inside the cardboard box there is a white ring binder, the front of it looks the same as the cardboard box, only the Lost Season 5 logo has been removed.

The first you notice when you open the ring binder is a VHS tape, which features an orientation video of the "Dharma Initiative". The video can be watched on Youtube, but the recording quality is terrible.

On the opposite side of the VHS tape, there is a folder with basic information about the "Dharma Initiative".

Inside the folder there is a welcoming greeting from Horace Goodspeed, the leader of the "Dharma Initiative".

Besides the greeting, there are three flyers with information about "Dharma Cafeteria", "Getting to know your way around" and "Dharma Motor pool".
In the flyer about the "Dharma Cafeteria" there is an example of a food menu for a week, and the business hours of the cafeteria.
"Getting to know your way around" has a map of the Dharma camp. You can see the location of the security office, the motor pool, infirmary, cafeteria, playground, welcome centre and the recreation room.
In "Dharma Motor Pool" is the rules of driving with a vehicle on the island listed, and how the vehicles are checked before they get to leave the motor pool.

The next folder contains a note about which rules that apply for members of the "Dharma Initiative", also there is a flyer from the "Dharma Security Team".

On the note is says you should stay within the sonar fence that surrounds the camp, which keeps the island's wildlife away. To become a member of the "Dharma Initiative" you have to take a test, which determines what your job will be.

The "Dharma Security Team" flyer has information about what the team work with. On the back is your own personal code for the sonar fence.

After the security folder, is there an envelope with four Dharma Patches.

The first patch in the upper left corner is the one the security team wears. The patch in the upper right corner belongs to the Dharma station, "The Swan". The lower left patch is from the Dharma station, "The Lamp Post". The last one is for the people that work in the cafeteria.
This box set did not include the exclusive submarine patch, which is mentioned of the back of the release.

On the back of the envelope, which contained the four patches, you can see where the patch is placed on the Dharma jumpsuit.

The five Blu-ray discs are placed in plastic casings and paper covers, which looks like floppy discs. It seems like a cheap solution, placing the disc in thin paper covers, when the rest of the box set is produced in great quality.

Besides the five discs the box features a "Geronimo Jackson" single, with the song "Dharma Lady".

Finally, there is sealed envelope where, close up, you can see pixilation on the print because the image has been stretched to fit the envelope.

Inside the envelope is "The Truce" between the Dharma Initiative's leader Horace Goodspeed and "The Others" leader Richard Alpert. Horace has written the truce, while Richard has written comments on front and back.

On the back is Richard Alpert's demands and if the Dharma Initiative violates these, they will break the truce.
If you are a big fan of "Lost" you should definitely own this box set. It is made in great quality, and there are many details and information about the "Dharma Initiative" that they do not explain on the show. The only negative I have to say about this box set is the "safekeeping" of discs, but if you handle them with care it is not a major problem.
